Tree of Hope

Once again this year, Pat’s Tours and Excellence Charter & Tours united their forces to encourage the most citizens as possible to participate to the Tree of Hope Radiothon.  It was in fact on November 27th that the « Hope Bus » hit the road in direction of Dieppe bringing for free generous passengers. This year, each person getting on board was invited to donate at least 25,00$ which was entirely given to the Tree of Hope Foundation.  That way, we were able to raise a total of 3,500 dollars, which allows all of us to roll all together for a hopeful future!

Excel-Tours in association with NRJ radio

Excel-Tours is proud to be partnering up with NRJ radio stations.  It was on September 24th that Excel-Tours & NRJ revealed the bus identified to the colours of the popular radio brand.  This partnership offers an important visibility to the the NRJ brand, the vehicle now travelling to every corner of the province and the country.

Excellence Charter is rolling for a good cause

Last May 30-31, Excellence Charter has proudly teamed up with the organization of the "Festival d’été de Québec", for the second edition of the challenge: "Court pour Opération Enfant Soleil". This 265 km relay race, from Montreal to Quebec city, had 25 runners who almost took 30 hours to realize the goal. A motor coach from Excellence was there to follow the participants during this big challenge. The team of the "Festival d’été" and their allies managed to raise the amount of 17 381$ for "Opération Enfant Soleil".

The Amiral is rolling with Excellence Charter

It is with a great pleasure that Excellence Charter is announcing their partnership with "l’Amiral de Québec"; the first women professional soccer team in Quebec. You might see this summer, on the roads, a motor coach in effigy of the team. As a proud official transporter, we wish an excellent first season to the team !

Something new for Montreal

Excel-Tours has recently added a new vehicle to the fleet to serve the clients better. A brand new Sprinter Minibus with a capacity of 11 passengers with luggage. This vehicle is equipped with air conditioning and a DVD system with a 15 inches flat screen. It is also very spacious, especially the height of the inside.

The direction of Excellence is proud to announce the nomination of Mr. René Roy at the title of operations director. Mr. Roy has joined the actual team of our transportation department and will guide the divisions of Excel-Tours inc., Autocar Excellence inc. in Lévis and Rivière-du-Loup, as well as Excellence Charter & Tours in Edmunston, New Brunswick.

Ovila Thiboutot becomes Autocar Excellence

Excellence just bought the Ovila Thiboutot charter division based in Rivière-du-Loup. This transaction includes five motorcoaches and its charter permits in the region. Its territory covers Temiscouata, Transcontinental, Kamouraska, a part of Basques and the great Rivière-du-Loup. The addition of these new territories is a great tool for Excellence development to reach optimal use of its fleet.

Groupe Tourcar rewarded

We have the pleasure to announce that Érablière le Chemin du Roy, a Groupe Tourcar division, won the first place at the Grands Prix du Tourisme in the Restauration- Développement touristique category. The honor highlights the great effort of the dynamic team at the sugar shack working everyday to make it successful. We sincerely thank everybody who came taste to our traditional cooking and our employees who contributed greatly to this team victory. CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYBODY!

Excellence shines on national tourism scene

We are proud to announce that we are finalist at the Tourism Industry Association of Canada National Awards for Tourism Excellence in the category PARTNER OF THE YEAR Starwood Hotels and Resorts. This nomination is a consequence of a partnership with Tourism New-Brunswick. We transformed a deluxe motor coach into a colorful “poster” that captures the beauty of New Brunswick landscapes. Prizes will be presented at the Canada’s Tourism Leadership Summit taking place at Château Frontenac in Québec city.

Excellence recently acquired a new deluxe 21 passenger minibus 2006 to renew its fleet. As for Excel-Tours, they increased their fleet with a 21 passenger minibus in Montreal.

More hockey at Excellence

Excellence Charter & Tours, our New Brunswick division, concluded a one year agreement with the Newfoundland Fog Devils, one of the new hockey team who will evolve in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League this season. The young management team hope it is the beginning of a long-lasting partnership with the newcomers of the Courteau circuit. This agreement will allow Excellence Charter & Tours to add another H3-45 (56 passenger) to its fleet. Note that we have the privilege to count Acadie Bathurst Titans among our clients since 2 years.
